The perfect way to enjoy or share fresh, field grown flowers every week is to purchase a CSA share. CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture and in this model a farmer offers shares (i.e. weekly subscriptions) of their harvests to the local community, typically before the growing season begins. By purchasing this subscription up front, members enter into a joint commitment with the farmer, sharing all of the inherent risks and rewards of the growing season. This system ensures that small farmers are kept afloat when early season costs are highest while directly connecting the member to their local farmers and products. Member support also helps to preserve our healthy landscapes by cutting out the thousands of miles pesticide laden food and flowers are usually shipped from abroad.
